Orient showdown with Leeds attracts a sell out crowd and hopefully a better referee!
ORIENT'S showdown with Leeds next month has now been confirmed as a sell out.
The visit of the former Premier League outfit on Saturday April 5 has generated huge interest from both sets of supporters, as their sides still have faint chances of making the play-off's.
The O's, who will have claimed they were robbed of all three points at Elland Road earlier in the season, will be keen to add to the 1-1 draw they secured in October.
Despite having Sean Thornton somewhat harshly red carded in the first half - Martin Ling's side put in one of their best performances of the campaign - and but for a horrendous refereeing display by Nigel Miller clearly won the match.
The bungling official, who produced a string of controversial decision all afternoon topped it off by failing to spot that Adam Boyd's late shot had clearly crossed the line and would have handed the O's a memorable 2-1 win.
That left the normally mild-mannered Martin Ling in a rage and the O's boss will clearly be hoping that next week Miller is of a similarly large distance away from Brisbane Road as the ball was over the line on that unforgettable afternoon at Elland Road.
Was Nigel Miller's performance the poorest you have ever seen from a referee when orient met Leeds earlier in the season? Have your say below...

as a leeds fan who was there i have to agree miller was appauling giving strange decisions all game. leeds had him last season in the championship at southend and denied us a blatent last minute winning pen. realising his mistake plus added pressure understandingly from wise blew it again but wrongly and it must be said in leeds favour. lets just hope the joker is back in southend that day!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a Leeds fan and have to say you were absolutely robbed that day, I was behind the goal and could see the ball was a foot over the line, the sending was incredibly soft as well. Not overly confident for the return fixture!!

Never mind the pathetic L1 table printed by Leeds, if we had the 2 extra points that we had actually earnt at Elland Road for winning, we would still be in with a chance of the playoffs. Miller is a muppet. We arent good enough for the playoffs and neither are Leeds.
