ARSENE WENGER received a much-needed boost today as Nicklas Bendnter looks set to snub offers from Germany to stay and fight for his place at Arsenal.
Wenger has lost Mathieu Flamini to AC Milan this week and Alexander Hleb and Emmanuel Adebayor look like they may follow the Frenchman out of the Emirates.
But Bendtner's father told the Guardian that the forward will ignore interest from German outfits Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen.
It is rumoured that Bundesliga champions Munich are willing to pay up to £8million for the 20-year-old, but Thomas Bendtner says his son is happy with Arsenal.
"I have heard about these offers from Germany but Nicklas will stay at Arsenal," Bendtner's father insisted.
"The only way things could be different was if something unexpected should happen, such as him being moved totally outside of the team, but it is difficult to see that happening as he is playing right now."
Bendtner (pictured) has endured a turbulent start to his Arsenal career - he was involved in a dispute with strike partner Emmanuel Adebayor during the side's disasterous 5-1 defeat to Spurs in the Carling Cup earlier in the season.
However, he has also showed a lot of promise and has weighed in with some crucial goals this campaign.
