Accidental handball left us counting the cost of draw

WE were all gutted to only come away from Brighton with a draw, especially the way it happened.

At the time we thought Jabo's goal was going to be enough to win it and put us level with Tranmere in sixth place.

But unfortunately it wasn't meant to be and I did feel for Adam Chambers after he conceded the penalty. It was only because he is so fit that he was probably back there helping the lads out defending, and I know it was certainly an accidental handball.

It was certainly one of those penalties that is always harsh, because while it is a spot-kick there was certainly no intention there.

We were also a little bit disappointed with the comments their manager made after the game.

Yes they had some good chances during the match, but the way he went on you would have thought they smashed us.

To be honest I think it showed a lack of respect, because we were always certainly in the game and even could have won it.

Back to this week and we have got two important home games coming up now against Huddersfield and Swindon and I feel a couple of wins could lift us back into the play-off places. We have already taken four points off both of them in away games earlier in the season, so we go into the games confident that we can come away with a couple of victories.

Finally we are still waiting the Vo2 Max test results, although I'm not sure if Smudger is keeping mine from me because I did so well and he doesn't want to upset the other lads!
